About
Software built around how lending institutions actually work
Online loan management software for money lenders, MFIs and SACCOs
Our story
Lending software that starts from the loan data model, not a template
Most loan management tools are built for one kind of lender and stretched to fit everyone else. LoanTabs started from the opposite direction: model loan origination, servicing and accounting properly first, then let independent lenders, multi-branch MFIs, and SACCOs each use the parts that fit how they actually operate, with cooperative governance added as custom work.
That means a solo loan officer and a multi-branch microfinance institution run on the same underlying platform — configurable loan products, real double-entry accounting, and a full audit trail — without either one paying for, or wrestling with, features built for the other.
We built LoanTabs with emerging-market lending in mind: subscription billing that accepts African mobile money and cards, per-institution currency settings, and built-in group lending and a SACCO add-on for institutions that need them, while keeping the platform usable for any small lender, anywhere.

Loan events and journal entries are logged so your books hold up to real scrutiny.

Each institution picks its own operating currency and locale, not a single hard-coded market.
For every institution type
One platform serves independent lenders, multi-branch MFIs, and member-owned SACCOs alike.
How we write
We write about what the product does
Lenders make decisions with what software vendors tell them, and so do AI assistants that summarize us. That is why every claim we make about the product is checked against the product before we publish it, and why we describe what LoanTabs does in plain, specific words.
If you see something on this site that is out of date or wrong, tell us at support@loantabs.com and we will fix it.
